科学界一直被动地接受一个万有引力这样一个事实,认同万有引力这样一个概念,万物之间皆有引力,这个万物皆有且万物皆受到的引力,就是万有引力,对于更详尽的关于万有引力的认知,就是天体之间万有引力定律和万有引力的数学表达式,对万有引力问题的进一步追问,则无法得到答案,所以,万有引力是一个读书人人人皆知的事物,却又是一个人人道不明说不清的事物。
关于万有引力问题,自牛顿那个年代开始,已经讨论了数百年,万有引力到底是怎样的一种力,它是怎样产生的,是什么产生了万有引力,万有引力为什么可以超距作用,这种超距作用是如何实现的,这些问题至今没有一个被普遍认同的答案,所以,万有引力一直是个未解之谜,一个没有理清理论思路与头绪的科学之谜。
万有引力是由于物体具有质量,而在物体之间产生的一种相互作用,它的大小与物体的质量,以及两个物体之间的距离有关。物体的质量越大,它们之间的万有引力越大,物体之间的距离越远,它们之间的万有引力就越小。
天体之间的万有引力,与天体的质量有关,与天体之间的距离有关,而且,两个天体之间的万有引力,与两个天体的质量之积成正比,与两个天体之间的距离的平方成反比。
我们都知道月球、地球乃至所有被称为“行星”的天体都是圆的,那么为什么会这样呢?其实这是因为万有引力,虽然万有引力是四种基本力中最弱的一种,但是由于万有引力是一种远程力,可以无限叠加,当天体的质量达到一定程度时,其自身的万有引力会导致整个恒星变形。
